If you can point us in the right direction.Ģ weeks ago I purchased the V3X29 in black & I had shot atleast 7 other proline compound bows that day, I’ve owned 17 PSE Bows since I was a kid, I’ve shot many others as well over the yrs, I’m not a pro archer, just a serious bow hunter and I liked the other top bows as well, all has aspects i liked.had the archery tech building me a new hoyt & the I saw the v3x & shot 24 arrows and I couldn’t put it down.

Something wrong with this post? Thanks for letting us know. Was This Review Helpful? 3 0 Watch Unwatch Could not be happier with this bow and would encourage anyone looking for a slick hunting rig to head to your Mathews shop and give one a try. 70 LBS at 29.5” is sending a 430gr arrow right at 300 FPS. Got my pins on and French tune done and the first shot at 100 yards with it found it mark dead center of the target. The fit and finish were fantastic and after a week or so I was able to get a BridgeLock compatible Black Gold site from S&S Archery (Thanks Rob ur the best). Next was consistency of arrow placement (Robinhood in the first 3 shots at 20 yards). The first thing I noticed was how completely dead in the hand the bow was.

First shot with the V3X 29 and I was hooked. After years of shooting Hoyt Carbon bows, I resolved to shot the Mathews after buying an “untuneable” RX4 (my shop and I tried everything to get that bow to tune, nothing worked) contacted Hoyt and received a completely un helpful “deal with it” response from them.
